SEO Content Optimisation Services: Giving Your Content a Meaningful Refresh

You’re the expert – and it shows in the words on your page. You might be a top-class HR guru or a business psychologist with twenty years’ experience. You might craft lengthy, detailed and fascinating blog posts, filled to the brim with value – but are they ranking?

You might find that, despite your best efforts, they aren’t being found. Your business is nowhere to be found on page one of Google (or page 2, or 3…). Your web traffic is dwindling and your conversions are stilted. So what’s the problem?

While your content might technically be of great quality, the reality is, you might be lacking certain SEO elements that are holding it back. Online content is far more complicated than it first appears – you need to optimise it so that search engines can find it and rank it for terms you want to rank for. That’s where content optimisation services come in.

What Are Content Optimisation Services?

Content optimisation is the art and science of enhancing existing digital content to maximise its relevance, visibility and impact.

It’s a meticulous process that involves fine-tuning every aspect of your content to ensure it performs at its best.

At Content Marketing Matters, content optimisation services encompass a wide range of techniques and strategies aimed at breathing new life into your digital assets.

What Our Content Optimisation Services Involve

Here’s what this process involves:

Initial Appraisal and Research

I begin by analysing your existing content to identify opportunities to boost your search engine optimisation (SEO).

This includes comprehensive keyword research, on-page SEO and the strategic integration of relevant keywords to enhance search engine rankings. For the purposes of keyword mapping and interlinking, clients often like to start with content strategy services before content optimisation, although this isn’t strictly necessary if you already have a firm keyword map in place.

Content Refreshing and Updating

Outdated content isn’t doing you any favours – you want to ensure the information on your website is up-to-date and relevant. I’ll refresh and update your existing content to keep it current, accurate and in alignment with the latest industry trends.

Content Formatting

Proper content formatting and structuring enhance readability and user experience. I’ll organise your content for clarity and visual appeal.

The goal of content optimisation services is to transform your existing content into a dynamic asset that not only captures attention but also ranks prominently in search results.

By enhancing the relevance, quality and accessibility of your content, we allow it to reach its full potential and deliver measurable results.

On-Page SEO

I’ll fine-tune on-page elements such as headings, meta titles, meta descriptions and image alt tags to improve search engine rankings and click-through rates.

Benefits of Content Optimisation Services

You might have picked up on the many benefits of content optimisation above – but just for the sake of clarity, here are the tangible advantages of our content optimisation services:

Improved Search Engine Rankings

Content optimisation is your secret weapon for climbing the search engine ladder. By fine-tuning your existing content and aligning it with SEO best practices, you can significantly boost your visibility on search engine results pages (SERPs). This means more organic traffic and a competitive edge in your industry.

Increased Traffic and Conversions

As your content becomes more discoverable and engaging, you attract a broader audience. This influx of qualified traffic increases your chances of converting visitors into loyal customers. Content optimisation drives not just quantity but also quality traffic.

Sustainability and Longevity

Quality content doesn’t have an expiration date. Well-optimised content continues to deliver value and results over time, making it a sustainable and long-term asset for your brand.

Competitive Edge

Staying competitive is essential. Content optimisation gives you an edge by ensuring your content is always at its best, making it harder for your competitors to gain an edge.

Enhanced User Experience

When your content is structured and formatted in just the right way, you provide a superior user experience for your target audience. Visitors stay longer on your website, engage more with your content, and are more likely to convert. This translates into a higher return on investment (ROI) for your time and money.

Enhanced Brand Authority

Consistently updated and relevant content positions your brand as an authority in your niche. When visitors find valuable, up-to-date information on your website, they’re more likely to trust your brand and return for future interactions.

Data-Driven Decision-Making

Content optimisation is not guesswork; it’s driven by data. I continually monitor the performance of your content, using analytics to refine our strategies and ensure optimal results.

Better ROI on Content Investment

Your existing content represents an investment of time and resources. Content optimisation maximises the returns on that investment by making it work harder and smarter.

 Continuous Improvement

Content optimisation is an ongoing process that ensures your content remains relevant and competitive over time. It allows you to adapt to changing trends and search engine algorithms, ensuring your content remains at the forefront of your industry.

By choosing Content Marketing Matters for content optimisation services, you’re investing in a strategy that not only revitalises your existing content but also propels your brand towards digital excellence. Ready to experience these benefits first-hand? Let’s embark on the journey to optimise your content for success.

Why You Should Choose Content Marketing Matters for Content Optimisation

You have a lot of choice – I’m hardly the only freelance content marketer out there. Just as your industry is competitive, so is mine. But not all content strategists are the same.

Here’s why you should trust me as your content optimisation partner:

Seasoned Expertise

I’ve been in the digital marketing world since 2014, writing blogs, optimising copy and writing metadata. I’ve been trained by leading agencies and I’ve worked across a number of industries, helping clients to obtain position 0 keywords while skyrocketing their traffic. I love what I do and I’m versatile, which has allowed me to flourish as a content marketing strategist

Customised Solutions Tailored to You

I’ll never recommend the same approach to any two clients – every company has different needs, goals and priorities. I use a personalised approach to content optimisation to get you where you want to be.

Proven Success Record

I have a long list of very happy clients who have left some lovely Google reviews and recommendations, along with case studies that demonstrate the success I’ve brought to my client’s campaigns. My favourite thing is to foster long-term, productive relationships with my clients, and I do this through results, promptness and through great communication.

Comprehensive Content Services

My offerings aren’t limited to content optimisation – in fact, most clients decide on a combination of content marketing services, from content strategy to content creation and content distribution (including link building and influencer marketing).

Industry Versatility

Over the years, I’ve built up a really strong reputation with HR, business and recruitment clients. I have a lot of knowledge on topics relating to these fields, which strengthens my content. However, I don’t limit myself to a single industry. I’ve also worked with clients in healthcare, technology, finance and retail. I’ve helped B2C eCommerce clients reach new audiences and SaaS clients boost their traffic. I’ve even helped an oven-cleaning client get into some pretty big publications! Whatever industry you’re in, get in touch to see if we can work together.

How Much Do I Charge For Content Optimisation?

I like to be as open and transparent about my fees as possible – all too often, it’s difficult to get an outright idea about freelancer costs without getting in touch. I know how frustrating that is.

I charge a day rate of £350, but many clients decide to opt for an hourly rate, or for a per project cost.

My hourly rate depends on your industry and the nature of the work, but it ranges between £45-55 an hour.

I’d be happy to discuss project costs for you – many clients prefer project costs as they are quoted a solid number and guaranteed to pay only that amount.

For clients wanting to put me on a retainer, which guarantees I will have hours available to you each month, a special price can be negotiated.

A special price can also be worked out for charities – get in touch to find out more.
